In summer Merano 2000 offers an extensive outdoor paradise for hikers and mountain bikers. The mountain is located only a few minutes’ drive from our hotel in Scena/Schenna. Take the cable car – one of the most modern in the Alps – and you will reach the so-called sun terrace of Merano/Meran in only 7 minutes. Once you have reached the summit you are rewarded with wonderful panoramic views and countless hiking trails for families or mountaineers. Start your tours directly at Falzeben and Pfiffing and head out to the Kratzberger lake or to the summit of one of the surrounding mountains. Other highlights at Merano 2000 are Lucki’s kids paradise with playground and petting zoo, the Panorama Bistro or the AlpinBob, a toboggan run on rails with a length of 1.1 km. If you visit Merano 2000 in summer, you also have the possibility for paragliding and viewing the holiday region Merano and environs from above.
In winter Merano’s local mountain transforms into the ultimate ski destination. Embark on an adventure in the snow, whether it is skiing or snowboarding, tobogganing or snowshoeing, horse-sleigh riding or camping at 2,300 m – whatever tickles your fancy!
