Our house underwent a major makeover in winter 2016/2017; in the course of the renovations it was upgraded to 4 stars. Our new “Schmied Hans” is our dream come true, born out of pure passion. Being a host is a highly responsible and deeply satisfying job. We have merged heart, soul and creativity, love for detail and a vision and casted great passion and love for the job. At the same time the next generation took over: son Lukas as head of the kitchen team, daughter Sophie as front desk manager and her partner Thomas in the service. Franz will continue to dedicate himself to his e-bikes; he will also take care of the hotel garden, the heart of the house, together with Emmi, making sure that everything grows, blossoms and thrives.

At Hotel Schmied Hans in Scena/Schenna we pamper you all day long with fresh delicacies. In the morning we await you with a delicious breakfast from the buffet with all kinds of regional delights. In between we offer sandwiches, homemade cake and apple strudel at the Café Bistro Emmi. In the evening we serve typical Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine at our Restaurant Schmied.
